Senior LevelEQ Accountants, part of the Sumer Group, is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team. The role involves leading a portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing expert tax advisory services, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of UK corporate tax clients including groups and complex cases
Provide commercially focused tax advice from restructuring to R&D reliefs, share schemes and more
Take a lead on managing deadlines, tax risk, compliance and internal workflows
Coach and support more junior team members, helping them grow in confidence and capability
Collaborate with EQ Partners to shape tax strategies, identify planning opportunities and add real value to our clients
Help build lasting client relationships based on trust, expertise and consistent delivery
Qualification
Required
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
Have UK corporate tax experience, ideally within a Top 10 professional services firm
Strong understanding of UK corporation tax legislation
Proven ability to manage deadlines and team supervision
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred
Exposure to some international tax/transferring pricing is desirable
Experience with CCH corporate is desirable
