The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting processes and financial close cycles, maintain accurate records, prepare journal entries, and assist with financial analyses and reporting.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the tracking of ELG Canada shipments, Forex Contracts etc

Review and monitoring of local accounting systems - Inventory / Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable

Assist Finance team as needed with wire/ACH processes

Assist Controller with special projects, business evaluations, system implementation as requested/directed

Monitoring Capital expenditures and Capital projects

Assist with Hermes credit insurance reporting

Sales & Use tax reporting

Track intercompany loan activity

Review and approve weekly ELG Canada wires

Other duties as needed

Prepare and post journal entries in conjunction with the month-end close process

Review all financial account reconciliations to ensure their timely completion and agreement with the general ledger and supporting ledgers

Assist Controller in review of financial statements

Tagetik reporting, analysis and review

Supplemental and ancillary analysis and reporting

Capital Expenditure Status reporting

Account reconciliations

Assist with annual audit

Assist with the preparation and review of Budgets/Forecast
