Ensures financial clearance and reimbursement for services provided to PH/PTE patients and other Cardiology patients as assigned
Reviews and validates summary reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
Serves as an advocate in all matters related to the financial aspects of the Cardiology patients with a focus on PH and PTE
Acts as a liaison for providers as well as patients with insurance carriers
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Preferred
2 Years experience in health care billing (Preferred)
General Experience With IDX And SMS (Preferred)
General Experience with procedure and diagnosis coding. (Preferred)
