Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, interpret, and implement applicable global regulations (including AML, CTF, KYC, sanctions, consumer protection, and crypto-specific requirements), ensuring company-wide compliance
Policy & Framework Development: Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
Risk Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, identify gaps, and implement mitigation strategies across products, affiliates, and third-party relationships
Advisory & Cross-Functional Support: Provide compliance guidance to internal teams on new initiatives, product changes, marketing activities, and partnerships to ensure regulatory alignment from inception
Regulatory Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external advisors as needed, supporting inquiries, audits, and reporting obligations
Training & Awareness: Design and deliver compliance training to ensure employees and contractors understand their obligations and maintain a strong compliance culture
Incident Management: Oversee the handling, investigation, and reporting of compliance incidents, breaches, or regulatory concerns
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory, legal, or risk roles within fintech, crypto, financial services, payments, or a related regulated industry
Strong knowledge of AML/CTF, KYC, sanctions, and regulatory compliance frameworks
Experience working with multi-jurisdictional regulations and remote, globally distributed teams
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred
Background in highly regulated fintech or payments companies
Experience with fiat–crypto on-ramps and off-ramps, payment processors, or money service businesses (MSBs)
Prior exposure to crypto, blockchain, Web3, or digital asset platforms in a compliance, risk, or regulatory capacity
Familiarity with affiliate, gaming, or online platform compliance environments
Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or licensing processes
Relevant certifications (e.g. CAMS, ICA, or equivalent)
