Responsibilities
Architect and implement generative AI and Agentic solutions using LLMs, diffusion models, and other cutting-edge techniques for text, image, and multimodal generation
Develop custom fine-tuning and prompt engineering strategies for foundation models to meet domain-specific needs
Explore innovative applications of generative AI in areas such as conversational agents, automated content creation, and citizen engagement platforms
Build scalable pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment on cloud and edge environments
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed generative AI capabilities into enterprise platforms
Conduct research and experimentation with emerging architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, VAEs, GANs) to stay ahead of industry trends
Establish best practices for responsible AI, including bias mitigation, explainability, and ethical use of generative models
Communicate complex AI concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to frameworks, tools, and reusable components for generative AI development
Experience with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge graphs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related quantitative field
7+ years of experience in data science, with at least 2+ years focused on generative AI or advanced deep learning
Proven expertise in LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, VAEs, and other generative architectures
Strong proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers)
Experience with fine-tuning foundation models, prompt engineering, and model optimization
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps for large-scale AI deployments
Strong understanding of data preparation for generative models, including text, image, and multimodal datasets
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to influence AI strategy
Preferred
Experience with multimodal AI (text + image + audio)
Familiarity with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) and alignment techniques
Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including fairness and interpretability
Contributions to open-source generative AI projects or published research
Prior work in government or public sector AI applications
