Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployments and ongoing uptime
Contribute and lead efforts to continuously improve the platform reliability, security, and cost optimization
Participate in L3 on-call rotations and incident response processes
Mentor and upskill team members on cloud-native technologies and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
Strong coding skills in at least one language, ideally Golang or Python, but open to other OO languages
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native technologies
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines leveraging DevOps practices
Extensive experience with IaC and cloud provisioning tools
Excellent cultural fit and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Portfolio managers
Preferred
A track record of successfully managing cloud infrastructure and delivering high-quality solutions
Passionate about cloud-native technologies and has a strong desire to learn and grow
Has a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices
Is adept at translating complex requirements into robust technical solutions
Is committed to driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement
