Senior Business Development

Stardust Audio is a premium music platform designed for creative professionals who need great music fast, with clean licensing and real control. They are seeking a Senior Business Development / Sales Lead to drive growth with top-tier creative industries such as advertising agencies and production companies.

Responsibilities

Develop and close deals with: Advertising agencies (CDs, ECDs, Producers, Heads of Production)
Production companies and post houses
Music supervisors, editors, sound engineers/designers, and directors
Brands directly (when relevant)
Lead full sales cycle: Lead generation and contact strategy → demo → trial → licensing / subscription / blanket deals
Build and manage pipeline + CRM (forecasting, follow-ups, prioritization)
Work closely with Stardust leadership on: pricing strategy, deal structure, product feedback from the market
Represent Stardust in meetings, industry events, and introductions

Qualification

Senior-level salesNetworkBackground in musicLicensingEntrepreneurial mindsetCommunication skills

Required

Senior-level sales / BD experience (not junior)
Strong, proven network in the US advertising / production ecosystem
Based in or highly active across LA and/or NY
Ability to reach and influence decision-makers quickly
Excellent communication skills and professional presence
Independent, entrepreneurial mindset (self-starter)

Preferred

Background in music / sync / audio post / licensing
Experience working with premium creative services
Existing relationships with major agency groups
Familiarity with licensing language, usage rights, exclusivity models
