Responsibilities
Plan, collect and analyze data to determine costs of product production such as raw material costs, labor, and overhead
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing processes to determine impact on the cost of products
Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports and related analysis which compares standard costs to actual production costs
Assist in estimating cost of new and proposed products
Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products inclusive of current inflation trends
Partnering with the operations teams to ensure proper inventory management, annual physical inventory validations and daily cycle counts are performed in accordance with policy
Establish overhead rates for inventory and labor and update as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
0-5 years in related cost analysis
Strong proficiency with office productivity applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Must be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously
Superior organizational skills and attention to details
Work requires effective oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with integrated ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
