Responsibilities
Participate in the year-long Transition to Practice Nurse Residency Program
Obtain continuing education credits upon completion of the program
Work as full-time nursing staff 'in training' with full benefits
Be available for variable hours at various sites
Work in various hospital units including Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatric Care Unit
Qualification
Required
Minimum Associate Degree
Registered Nurse-NM
State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
Preferred
Degree from accredited academic nursing program
BSN preferred
ACLS: Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services
NRP: Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care
PALS: Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services
