Financial Secretary
Highland Heights Presbyterian Church is seeking a Financial Secretary to support all accounting aspects of the Church and the Parents Day Out program. The role involves bookkeeping, managing accounts receivable and payable, assisting in budget preparation, and handling HR responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
All bookeeping quotes for the Church and the PDO program
Accounts Receivable
Prepare worksheets for Sunday offering counters
Post contributions and make deposits
Provide congregation with contribution statements quarterly
Per member asking letter to be included with the 2nd quarter statement
Stewardship letter and pledge card sent with the 3rd quarter statement
Assist in preperation of church budget and PDO budget
Accounts Payable
Comply with all state and federal tax reporting
HR responsibilities
Maintain employee files
Prepare employee contracts
Run new-hire background checks
Assist in completing immigration paperwork for employees, as needed
Benefits enrollment and medical insurance
Handle end-of-month and end-of-year financial closings
Provide financial snapshot to the Session each month
Provide PDO parents with tuition statements annually
Handle annual renewals (i.e. Domain Registration, Church Windows Software, Elevator & Sign fees, Metro Alarm, CCLI, CVLI, tags for the van)
Maintain and renew insurance policies
Perform Administrative Secretary duties occasionally when the Admin. secretary is sick or on vacation (eg. phone calls, messages, answer the door, print bulletins)
Qualification
Required

Accountable to the session (Board of Elders) through the pastor, who is head of staff
All bookkeeping quotes for the Church and the PDO program
