UltraSource LLC has been serving the processing and packaging equipment needs of various industries since 1883. The Intern will support the administration function of the Information Systems department and assist the Manager of Information Systems on special projects.

Responsibilities

Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
Organize and maintain IT resources
Identify and report issues to the IT manager. Monitor and test resolution of those issues at the discretion of the manager
Lend IT support in areas of cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment

Qualification

Information systems knowledgeMicrosoft Office proficiencyTechnical support skillsEffective communicationAttention to detail

Required

Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on computer science, information technology, or management information systems, or one year related experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of general information systems
Intermediate knowledge and usage of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Must have a high level of efficiency and responsibility
Must possess exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

Completed college coursework in information systems preferred
