Represent clients in removal proceedings and asylum hearings before EOIR
Prepare and file asylum applications, waivers, and humanitarian relief petitions
Manage family-based immigration matters including adjustment and consular cases
Draft motions, briefs, and supporting evidence packages
Conduct legal research on complex immigration and asylum issues
Communicate directly with clients and guide them through sensitive case stages
Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys across offices
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience as an Immigration or Asylum Attorney
Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction (State Bar required)
Demonstrated EOIR and USCIS case handling experience
Strong writing, advocacy, and client-management skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
Preferred
Portuguese or Spanish fluency preferred
