Assistant Professor of Finance

Binghamton University is a premier public R1 research institution in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. The School of Management invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in Finance, focusing on conducting high-quality research, teaching courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, and engaging in service to the School and University community.

Responsibilities

Conduct high quality research and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area
Teach two courses per semester at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Contribute to the School, the University, and the professional community by actively engaging through service by involvement in committees, shared governance, and review services

Required

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related business field or will complete all degree requirements by July 1, 2026
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research through publications, working papers, or work-in-progress

Preferred

Experience teaching, co-teaching, or assisted in teaching any undergraduate or graduate-level courses in Finance
