Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and proper account coding
Manage payment methods, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs
Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve any discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address payment-related inquiries
Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Ensure timely and efficient processing of all accounts payable transactions
Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures regarding payments
Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable activities
Support the implementation of system improvements to streamline processes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check payment methods
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams
Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for financial management
