This fully remote, 6-month contract role involves providing legal advice on labor and employment matters, particularly union-related issues, and drafting responses to complaints and grievances.

Draft detailed responses to complaints and grievances, ensuring clarity and compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies

Provide legal advice and guidance related to labor and employment matters, including union-related issues

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and maintain effective labor relations

Perform legal research and analysis pertinent to the institution’s workforce matters

Assist with overall case preparation and documentation as required

Qualification

Required

Active California Bar license required

Proven labor and employment experience, with expertise in union-related issues a strong advantage
