Responsibilities

Spend 6 to 8 months working in Melrose Park, IL headquarters for extensive technical, product, processes, and sales training
Prepare quotations and installation drawings for storage rack projects
Perform structural analysis and design to meet customer specifications and a variety of codes
Create bills of material for proposals and orders
Interact extensively with sales personnel and project managers in the beginning and eventually interact with customers, dealers, and distributors later in the training period. Go on ride-alongs with existing sales personnel to shadow and control responsibilities
Work in the company’s CRM to evaluate and assist on leads, follow up on leads and quotes assigned to existing sales personnel, and review customer information to provide continuous improvement ideas to the Director of Sales
Assist with maintaining existing customer accounts as required
Travel in furtherance of responsibilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Strong desire to work in Industrial Sales and develop a long-term career in outside sales
A customer-focused and results-oriented attitude with excellent presentation skills and the confidence to interact with customers at all levels
Must be willing to live within 1 hour (driving distance) of the Indianapolis, IN area after the initial training period
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, ever-changing environment
Must have an excellent driving record and own a car
