This internship offers specialized training and hands-on experience in either Order Fulfillment or Transportation, aimed at enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance our customers' ordering experience
Assess incoming customer orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment methods
Provide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on the status of their orders
Assist in problem solving to satisfy customer order requirements and execute strategic solutions
Communicate with internal and external sources, specifically with our vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing department, to ensure effective order fulfilment
Assist with entering purchase orders for customized and special order items
Monitor expedited shipping orders
Coordinate with our retail store locations to complete online pickup orders
Offer suggestions and methods to improve delivery and order fulfillment
Work directly with carriers to resolve shipping issues that occur with ground and common carrier shipments
Make and execute decisions regarding the delivery needs of customer orders
Provide friendly assistance to our customers and keep them updated on the status of their orders
Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and our retail store locations to enhance our customers' shopping experience
File and manage carrier damage claims
Coordinate and schedule common carrier pickups
Log and analyze freight invoices
Monitor expedited shipping orders to ensure they deliver timely
Offer suggestions and methods to improve delivery
