Responsibilities
Travel to and call on businesses in the local Reading areas to increase sales with existing customers and develop new relationships with prospective customers
Occasional travel to other PA markets
Develop and maintain knowledge of products offered in-store and the gross profit associated with private label products
Communicate with Sales team to ensure follow-through on leads generated Field Marketing team
Communicate pertinent information to TRS Marketing and Sales Departments through established reporting methods
Plan, organize, and execute specific sales and marketing programs under the direction of the Field Marketing Manager
Research and communicate competitor information to sales and inventory teams within the local branch by providing relevant competitor invoices and identify current vendors of prospective customers
Ability to navigate TRS.com quickly and effectively to assist customers with establishing online accounts and quick pick lists
Ability to use Office 365 and iOS programs
Qualification
Required
Strong English and Spanish speaking skills
Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to navigate TRS.com quickly and effectively to assist customers with establishing online accounts and quick pick lists
Ability to use Office 365 and iOS programs
Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs
Preferred
Strong skills with iOS and Office 365 programs
Experience with Food and Beverage/Hospitality
Experience with Food Service Equipment Sales is preferred
