Responsibilities
Support the full estimating lifecycle for water and wastewater pipeline projects, from conceptual pricing through bid submission and turnover to operations
Perform quantity takeoffs, develop detailed cost estimates, and assemble competitive bids for self-perform pipeline and pump station work
Review plans, specifications, and identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
Participate in pre-bid site visits, constructability reviews, and value engineering discussions
Contribute to estimating strategy, preconstruction planning, and internal bid reviews
Work closely with senior estimators and preconstruction leadership, with a clear path toward owning full project estimates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline
Estimating experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or water/wastewater construction
Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a desire to develop into a lead estimator
