New Grad, Entry LevelSHIK Consulting Group is a company that brings brands directly to customers through live events and on-site campaigns. They are looking for an Event Marketing Associate to join their events team and help execute pop-ups, retail activations, and promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities
Take part in live marketing events, pop-ups, and retail activations across the DC metro area
Act as the face of client brands by engaging with customers, starting conversations, and creating positive first impressions
Explain products or services in a clear, approachable way and guide interested customers through sign-ups or sales interactions
Work with your team to set up event spaces, manage foot traffic, and keep campaigns running smoothly
Track daily activity and results so the team can adjust messaging and improve future events
Learn how in-person events are planned, executed, and optimized to drive real customer growth
Qualification
Required
Comfortable communicating with new people face-to-face
Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site
Interest in marketing, events, communications, or sales
Coachable attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred
Previous customer-facing experience is a plus, not a requirement
