Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Nutanix HCI environments, including AOS, Prism Central, and Prism Element
Assist with configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management (LCM) activities to ensure system stability and performance
Participate in disaster recovery efforts, including replication setup, testing, and documentation of recovery procedures
Support storage services such as Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS) and file/object storage (NFS, S3, Object)
Develop and maintain basic automation or scripts using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools to improve operational efficiency
Create and maintain technical documentation and collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure builds and migrations
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience supporting Nutanix HCI environments in a production or enterprise setting, with exposure to day-to-day operational support and cluster management
Working knowledge of Nutanix AOS, Prism Central, and Prism Element, including monitoring, basic configuration, and troubleshooting activities
Exposure to disaster recovery concepts and lifecycle management (LCM), with an understanding of replication, upgrades, and maintenance processes
Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or similar, to support operational efficiency and repeatable tasks
Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals, including compute, storage, and networking concepts within virtualized environments
Comfortable producing clear documentation, following configuration standards, and collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot and support infrastructure initiatives
