The Accounting Director will manage day-to-day accounting operations and drive integration, standardization, and efficiency across newly acquired entities.

Responsibilities
Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Support private equity reporting requirements and coordinate with third-party auditors and tax providers
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Play a lead role in acquisition integration, including purchase accounting and MSO structures
Partner with operations and practice-level teams to support systems implementation and accrual accounting
Help establish scalable processes that support rapid growth
Mentor and develop accounting team members as the function expands
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry
Hands-on M&A and integration experience
Comfortable operating without perfect structure
Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP

Support private equity reporting requirements and coordinate with third-party auditors and tax providers
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Strong communicator with intellectual curiosity, initiative, and ambition
Ownership, adaptability, and leadership
Preferred
Prior experience in PE-backed environments
Prior experience in healthcare services
Prior experience in MSO structures
Demonstrated involvement in M&A, integrations, and purchase accounting
Comfortable operating in a build-as-you-go environment with limited structure
