Responsibilities

Develop strategy, charter and architecture for network security and the associated management plane infrastructure

Partner with customers, stakeholders, cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and build the products to meet those requirements

Drive the innovation to incorporate AI technologies in the software solutions

Drive the delivery of security enhancements to meet Google Cloud's security mandate

Own reliability and safety of the management plane systems

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects

Experience with software defined networking, network automation, and AI
