Responsibilities
Review and audit Japanese-language AI outputs across audio and text-based tasks
Evaluate translations, summaries, Q&A responses, and reasoning outputs for accuracy, clarity, and cultural correctness
Assess text quality using structured rubrics focused on fluency, consistency, and correctness
Verify translation accuracy between Japanese ↔ English, ensuring semantic fidelity and natural phrasing
Identify linguistic issues related to grammar, spelling, tone, register, and cultural nuance
Evaluate logical reasoning in Japanese-language explanations and flag gaps or inconsistencies
Provide clear, concise written feedback to support evaluation decisions
Work independently and asynchronously using provided tools and workflows
Qualification
Required
Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese
Strong English reading and writing skills
Strong experience in Japanese ↔ English translation, proofreading, or linguistic quality review
Familiarity with text evaluation, annotation, content moderation, or AI data review workflows
High attention to detail and ability to follow complex, structured guidelines
Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
