Kapa.ai is a company focused on helping technical companies leverage AI for product inquiries. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate leads through outbound outreach and facilitate connections between technical leaders and account executives.

Responsibilities
Help technical companies discover how they can use AI to answer questions about their products
Build the outbound engine that connects product and engineering teams with kapa.ai
Own pipeline generation through proactive outbound outreach to technical leaders
Book discovery calls between technical leaders and Account Executives
Craft personalized messages to start conversations with technical leaders about how AI can help them onboard more users, reduce support burden, and build modern product experiences
Qualification
Required
1+ year of sales/business development experience, ideally with outbound and cold calling experience
Strong interest in AI and developer tools
Resilient and coachable
Based on the east coast to have easier overlap with European core team (incl. founders)
Preferred
Technical curiosity or experience talking to developer personas
Builder mentality - you want to create processes, not just follow them
Experience selling to technical buyers or in the developer tools space
