Process Improvement Specialist

Optomi is a consulting services organization seeking a Process Improvement Professional to support high-impact initiatives focused on modernizing and streamlining outdated, manual processes. Responsibilities

Visualize and document current-state processes
Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
Design and articulate future-state workflows that are faster, better, and more efficient
Collaborate closely with design strategists, change practitioners, technologists, and SMEs
Facilitate discovery sessions and working sessions with clients and stakeholders
Support delivery of process improvement initiatives, including those paired with AI solutions
Foster a continuous improvement mindset across teams and client partners
Communicate clearly and effectively to align stakeholders and drive progress

Qualification

Lean methodologiesSix SigmaProcess mappingRoot cause analysisContinuous improvementExperience in consultingExperience in regulated environmentsCollaboration skillsCommunication skills

Required

Background in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, systems, or continuous improvement
Experience analyzing current workflows and identifying friction points and inefficiencies
Hands-on experience with process mapping and process documentation
Familiarity with A3s, root cause analysis, or structured problem-solving frameworks
Ability to conceptualize and communicate current-state vs future-state processes
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and SMEs
Experience working in regulated, complex, or enterprise environments

Preferred

Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent)
Experience working in a consulting environment
Background in engineering, process design, or operations improvement
Experience partnering with technologists on system-enabled process improvements
Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving client needs
