Responsibilities
Lead the Workday Financials workstream as part of global Finance transformation projects
Serve as functional SME for key modules: Core Financials (GL, AP, AR), Banking, Procurement, Expenses, Assets, Projects, Grants, and Supplier Accounts
Translate business requirements into effective Workday configuration and process solutions
Own hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment activities within Workday Financials
Manage change requests, regression testing, and release readiness in collaboration with Finance and IT stakeholders
Partner with GRC, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure SOX and compliance alignment
Promote continuous improvement and system adoption through reporting, documentation, and training
Coordinate with integration partners (e.g., MuleSoft, external vendors) to ensure accurate data flows
Maintain ownership of functional design documentation, test scripts, and process maps
Mentor junior team members or contractors as needed
Qualification
Required
Deep configuration expertise in Workday Financials
Strong functional finance knowledge
Proven track record leading or supporting enterprise Workday Finance initiatives
Experience in leading the Workday Financials workstream as part of global Finance transformation projects
