Enterprise Resources Planning Consultant
Venteon is supporting an automotive supplier serving Toyota that is in the middle of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. They are seeking an experienced D365 F&O consultant to work directly with the business, helping users understand how to operate the system and establish practical day-to-day processes.
Responsibilities
Support UAT execution by working with accounting, supply chain, production, and inventory users to validate real-world scenarios
Train end users on how to properly execute transactions in D365 F&O, not just test scripts
Translate manufacturing workflows (stamping, welding, WIP, inventory movements) into usable D365 processes
Identify process gaps or system misunderstandings and help define clear, repeatable procedures
Assist users in understanding root causes when transactions fail or results do not align with expectations
Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guidance tailored to plant operations
Act as a liaison between business users and the implementation partner, clarifying requirements and needed adjustments
Provide go-live readiness support and stabilization assistance as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Background supporting manufacturing environments, ideally automotive or Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers
Solid understanding of: Production and inventory transactions, Shop-floor manufacturing processes, Costing, WIP, and material movements
Experience supporting or leading UAT for ERP implementations
Ability to train non-technical users and explain system behavior in practical terms
Comfortable working onsite in a plant environment during critical project phases
Preferred
Automotive stamping, welding, or metal fabrication experience
Toyota or OEM supplier environment familiarity
Prior involvement in ERP go-lives or post-implementation stabilization
Experience creating user documentation and process maps
