Responsibilities

Review and analysis of cost estimates, including estimate basis and qualifications
Review of existing project status as provided by client and its vendors
Monitoring compliance with department requirements and Enterprise Policy and Standards
Providing analysis and forecasting of project cost performance
Assisting with forecasting project cost impacts
Project risk quantification, analysis, and management
Updating project cost and risk information in client’s systems and tools

Required

Graduation from a four-year college or university - business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent
Minimum of 9 years of project controls experience
Minimum of 11 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred

Masters - business, finance, project management, or equivalent
PMI or AACE certification (the following or equivalent are acceptable - PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP)
Proficiency / Expertise with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications / analytics; strong collaborative team member
Experience evaluating vendor change orders
Demonstrated expertise in using Software such as MS Project/MS Office Suite, Business Objects, Prolog, Passport, Visio, Access, Powerplant, Maximo or EAM, PeopleSoft. Risk management tools / Monte Carlo analysis
Ability to lead complex assignments
Exceptional communication skills
Expert user of Excel
Prior Utility experience
