Responsibilities

Build and scale systems that reinforce performance and company culture
Act as a thought partner to leadership, supporting team leaders with people management
Design policies that both enable company success and support individual team members
Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruiting to development and exits
Ensure compliance with employment law while minimizing bureaucracy
Cultivate feedback loops for quick problem resolution and organizational course corrections

Required

Previous experience as a People leader in a scale-up company, ideally in deep tech or biotech
Ability to operate as a doer and stay involved in individual contributor work
Exemplary communication skills, including effective presentations for diverse audiences
High empathy combined with a high performance bar, balancing individual and organizational success
Deep understanding of compensation, performance management, and organizational design
Experience helping a company transition through significant inflection points, such as pre-to-post commercialization
