Responsibilities
Framework Development: Build and extend modular automation frameworks using Playwright and WebdriverIO
Test Scripting: Author clean, maintainable, and efficient test scripts for complex UI workflows and RESTful APIs
Execution & Maintenance: Execute automated suites across multiple environments and browsers; proactively debug and fix flaky tests
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab) to enable "Shift-Left" testing
Collaboration: Work closely with Developers and Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify automation candidates during the design phase
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8+ Years of Experience required
Expert proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO
Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin)
Experience with Axios, Supertest, or Playwright's native Request API
Familiarity with Docker and cloud-based execution (BrowserStack, LambdaTest)
