Mid LevelvTech Solution Inc is seeking an experienced payroll tax analyst for a short-term, high-intensity project focused on resolving payroll tax issues across various jurisdictions. The role requires immediate contribution and involves responsibilities such as resolving tax notices, reconciling discrepancies, and managing multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities
Resolve payroll tax notices across state, county, city, school district, and other local jurisdictions
Navigate multiple tax agency portals and reconcile discrepancies between ADP Master Tax, ADP Smart Compliance, and internal systems
Prioritize issues based on dollar exposure, penalties, liens, and overall risk
Track and document findings in Excel, supporting reconciliation and next steps
Operate independently, escalate when necessary, and ensure forward momentum on all tasks
Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with state, local, and jurisdictional payroll tax issues
Strong knowledge of payroll setup, mapping, and master data impacts on tax outcomes
Strong Excel skills (macros a plus)
Proven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive projects with urgency
Ability to work independently with ownership of assigned work
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with ADP Master Tax and ADP Smart Compliance preferred
