Chief Operating Officer
Craig Bradford Associates is a best-in-class privately held organization based in the Western Suburbs of Philadelphia. They are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence, execute strategic vision, and optimize processes for efficiency and productivity across the business.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Drive operational initiatives that support business growth, scalability, and sustainability
Provide leadership and direction to all operational functions, including but not limited to production, supply chain, logistics, quality assurance, and facilities management
Establish and communicate clear goals, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and performance excellence
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, operational readiness and efficiency throughout the organization
Analyze existing operational processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency gains and cost savings across the organization
Collaborate closely with other functional areas, including finance, sales, marketing, and human resources, to ensure alignment and integration of operational activities with overall business objectives
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to drive cross-functional initiatives and resolve operational issues
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the company's operations
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial and operational risks
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to build a strong and capable operations team
Encourage collaboration, teamwork, and knowledge sharing to enhance collective capabilities and drive organizational success
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of success in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic higher-end customer service environment
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated experience in process optimization, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Solid understanding of financial management principles and experience managing budgets and financial performance
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment and effectively manage competing priorities
Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office and other relevant software applications
