Responsibilities
Collaborate with development teams to design write and optimize SQL queries functions and stored procedures
Ensure efficient query plans and performance tuning for various database systems including DB2 PostgreSQL Oracle and MSSQL
Provide guidance and best practices for database design indexing and query optimization
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues implementing solutions to improve efficiency
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers on SQL related matters
Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends to continuously improve database performance and reliability
Qualification
Required
DB2 developer with light DBA skills and some exposure to cloud
