Responsibilities
Client built a speed layer for OTC in conjunction with the enterprise Apps team. They needed a fast response time while other areas are pulling data from them
A speed layer essentially boosts speed and performance, optimizing read/write patterns and MVCC. This was done through API generators
This has already been built, but they need someone to come in and support and maintain the speed layer. They also want to bring the knowledge in-house
Qualification
Required
Experience with SQL development
Knowledge of speed layer architecture
Ability to optimize read/write patterns
Experience with MVCC (Multi-Version Concurrency Control)
Familiarity with API generators
Ability to support and maintain existing systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
