Responsibilities
Produce accurate, detailed civil engineering drawings and 3D models using Civil 3D for water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation projects
Develop and maintain CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects
Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into polished construction documents
Partner with our product team to test and provide feedback on AI-powered design tools
Identify opportunities to streamline drafting workflows and improve production efficiency
Manage and organize project files, xrefs, and data shortcuts to maintain clean project environments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a CAD Designer in civil engineering (water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or transportation)
Expert-level proficiency in Civil 3D, including corridors, pipe networks, grading, and surfaces
Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and construction documentation standards
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, accurate drawings
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities
