Sales Manager - Govt & Fleet Sales, North & East

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new fleet and government sales opportunities (defence, police, state transport, taxi fleets, etc.) to achieve growth targets
Maintain and grow existing fleet/government accounts by building strong relationships with decision-makers
Track and manage government procurement processes
Prepare competitive proposals and submissions in response to government RFPs/RFQs/tenders (using portals like GeM, CPP) by coordinating with pricing, legal, and operations teams
Deliver technical sales presentations to customers, highlighting Goodyear products and services that meet their requirements
Lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms, working to close sales while protecting company margins and adhering to corporate policies
Coordinate with Goodyear service and retreading teams to ensure timely delivery, fitment, and maintenance support
Provide training and technical guidance to fleet maintenance staff and drivers on tire usage and preventive care to maximize tire life
Quickly address any customer issues by liaising with internal teams (logistics, service, etc.) to maintain high satisfaction
Qualification
Required

Prospect major fleets and monitor public-sector tenders (e.g. GeM/eProcurement) to generate bids and convert them into orders
Maintain and grow existing fleet/government accounts by building strong relationships with decision-makers
Implement plans to increase tire fitments and share-of-wallet, regularly reviewing performance and addressing customer needs to ensure sustained business
Track and manage government procurement processes
