Dealership Software Implementation & Onboarding Specialist
SGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, and they are seeking an Onboarding Specialist Contractor to ensure a smooth onboarding and software implementation experience for automotive dealership teams. This role involves coordinating onboarding processes, managing software installation projects, and driving user adoption while minimizing business disruption during transitions.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage onboarding processes, including scheduling orientation sessions and training programs
Prepare and distribute onboarding materials such as welcome packets, employee handbooks, and training resources
Conduct orientation sessions covering company policies, procedures, and culture
Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and concerns during onboarding
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure new hires are fully equipped to begin their roles
Lead and coordinate all phases of dealership software installation projects, from planning through post-installation support
Drive adherence to project timelines, deliverables, scope, and quality standards
Serve as the primary liaison between dealership staff, software vendors, and internal client teams
Oversee technical installation and integration of dealership systems (finance, inventory management, CRM, etc.)
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical or operational issues, coordinating resolution efforts
Design and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to support software adoption
Provide hands-on support during transition periods for users with varying levels of technical proficiency
Maintain detailed documentation related to implementations, configurations, feedback, and lessons learned
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in software implementation, digital enablement, dealership operations, or technical customer support
Foundational understanding of Dealership Management Software (DMS), automotive business processes, and core IT infrastructure
Strong project management and multitasking capabilities
Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
Strong client service orientation, empathy, and adaptability
Technical curiosity and proactive troubleshooting mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments
Comfort working with evolving technologies and fast-paced, changing environments
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 90%) to dealership locations nationwide
Flexibility to support nontraditional hours during go-live events or critical project phases
