Service Desk Manager
Vista Applied Solutions Group Inc is seeking a Senior Service Desk Manager to lead a high-impact team supporting critical technology operations across multiple regions. The role involves managing a team that supports Microsoft-based systems and collaborating closely with engineering and infrastructure teams while ensuring service levels and client support are maintained.
Responsibilities
Reviewing overnight environment performance and addressing priority issues
Ensuring resources are aligned to workloads and SLAs/P1/P2 escalations are met
Supporting internal/external clients across the service territory
Traveling to regional offices (2–3 times/month) to support teams
Leading process improvements & documentation initiatives
Managing projects, coordinating with infrastructure teams, and overseeing escalation paths
Qualification
Required
Microsoft Office 365 (on-prem + cloud)
Windows 11 and Windows-only environments
Azure / Azure AD: user lifecycle management, OUs, group policies
ITIL experience (v4 preferred) and structured ITSM frameworks
Preferred
Experience with multiple ticketing systems (KACE, FreshDesk/FreshService a plus)
Background in supervising project work, resource planning, or cross-functional leadership
Understanding of leadership styles (transformational & transactional)
Experience supporting OSI Layers 1–2 environments
