Responsibilities
Support the continued evolution of valuation policies, processes, and standardized templates across Opportunistic and Value-Add real estate equity portfolios
Research technical valuation topics and provide thoughtful input on emerging valuation issues, market trends, and methodology considerations
Coordinate and manage quarterly valuation reviews with third-party valuation firms and external auditors
Review and compile investment summaries, valuation support packages, valuation committee materials, and investor reporting
Monitor business, industry, and macroeconomic developments that may impact portfolio performance and valuations
Provide oversight and guidance to an offshore support team assisting with valuation analysis and documentation
Respond to ad hoc analytical and reporting requests from senior stakeholders
Qualification
Required
6-8+ years of experience at a Big 4 audit firm or a national valuation advisory firm
Strong foundation in financial statements, capital markets, security types, and valuation methodologies, including Income and Market approaches
Highly analytical, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and professional rigor
Preferred
Real estate valuation experience preferred, including exposure to complex capital structures, option-based models, derivatives, fixed income, or structured equity
Experience with valuation and financial data platforms such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, QlikView, iLevel, or similar systems
