Responsibilities
Built an automated workflow to assign 800+ ZIP codes to their nearest Metro Market across all U.S. states using Python (GeoPandas, Numpy, Pandas), SQL (Dbeaver), and AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and Julius.ai
Retrieved ZIP code and centroid datasets from public sources ( U.S. Census Bureau, OpenDataSoft, World Population Review ) and standardized them for analysis
Defined state-specific assignment rules and validated proximity calculations using dynamic distance thresholds tailored to each state's geography and Metro Market configuration
Documented methodology, logic, and outputs using Claude.ai for reproducibility and future operational use
Created interactive geospatial maps in Looker Studio and Power BI to visualize Metro Markets and assigned ZIP codes for all launched and upcoming states
Identified misalignments in ZIP-to-market assignments by analyzing map layers, validating spatial relationships, and using Google Earth Pro for additional overlay checks
Exported finalized maps as images or PDFs to support presentation decks and strategic planning discussions
Analyzed affluent ZIP codes by Metro Market and mapped the distribution of Core Category Small Businesses relative to these high-value areas
Visualized demographic and business density patterns in Power BI to highlight sponsor-rich zones and market opportunities
Used Claude or Julius to summarize demographic trends and recommend visualization formats for clarity and impact
Built weekly reporting pipelines by retrieving structured data from multiple platforms: Dialpad (outbound call performance), Brevo & HubSpot (email open rates and conversions), TextMagic (SMS engagement metrics), Google Analytics 4 (website traffic)
Automated data collection using API keys where available and summarized trends using AI tools like Claude and Julius
Built KPI cards, week-over-week comparison tables, and growth charts in Power BI and Looker Studio
Created presentation decks using Claude.ai and Julius.ai to generate content, key insights, and slide layouts
Integrated exported maps and analytics visualizations into final presentation materials
Ensured deliverables met university academic credit requirements and professional communication standards
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a university program in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
Basic familiarity with Python, Excel, or GIS tools (or willingness to learn)
Interest in using AI tools (Claude, Julius, Copilot) for analytics and presentations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
