Mechanical and Plumbing Superintendent
MKH Search is seeking a Mechanical and Plumbing Superintendent to support project execution through technical leadership and supervision of mechanical and plumbing systems. The role entails ensuring safety, quality, and professionalism while managing schedules, manpower, and resources effectively.
Responsibilities
Communicate mission, vision, and core values
Demonstrate strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and applicable codes
Promote preventive maintenance and safe use of tools, materials, and hazardous substances
Perform trade-related math and use computers, tablets, and smartphones
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings; layout piping and equipment
Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics
Set project priorities, goals, and milestones
Coordinate shop drawing reviews, system flushing, and equipment startup
Attend progress meetings and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Foster accountability, professionalism, and respectful conflict resolution
Work with welded, threaded, grooved, soldered, and brazed piping systems
Follow all company policies, procedures, and job site requirements
Qualification
Required
Ability to travel as needed
Technical school training or equivalent experience
Adaptable, coachable, and professional demeanor
Ability to work effectively with other trades, subcontractors, and management
Successful completion of a criminal background check
Demonstrate strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and applicable codes

Preferred
Journeyman or Master license preferred, not required
