Business Development and Account Manager

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities in the data center sector while building strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers
Support the development of go-to-market strategies and conduct market research to anticipate industry trends and customer needs
Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, managing the entire sales cycle to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Develop account plans to maximize revenue growth and cross-selling opportunities while providing consultative support on data center infrastructure optimization
Collaborate with IMB sales and product teams to deliver customized solutions and work with Hubs and other Business Areas for effective account management
Assist Communication & Marketing in designing targeted campaigns for data center clients and report on pipeline development and account performance to senior leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within data center industries
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking, cloud integration)
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate large contracts
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to travel (approximately 40%) as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
