Responsibilities
Supporting customers with post-release issues across live 5G deployments
Troubleshooting complex system and network issues affecting 5G service availability and performance
Supporting remote deployments and configuration of 5G systems, including RAN and associated components
Working with 5G RAN systems (gNB, CU/DU) and understanding how radio, networking, and software interact
Logging into systems to investigate issues across Linux, networking, and application layers
Supporting customer labs and environments via remote access and conference calls
Participating in an on-call rotation to support customer incidents when required
Collaborating with R&D and system test teams when issues require deeper investigation
Documenting issues clearly and contributing to structured escalation and resolution processes
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience supporting 5G networks or systems in a customer or post-deployment environment
Good understanding of 5G RAN and radio concepts, with the ability to troubleshoot beyond surface symptoms
Strong networking fundamentals, including IP and IPv6
Confidence working in Linux environments, including remote system access and troubleshooting
Experience supporting or deploying telecom systems for customers (vendor or integrator background strongly preferred)
Comfort working independently in a remote, customer-facing support role
Ability to communicate clearly with customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders
Preferred
Experience supporting Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) or private 5G deployments
Background with major telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Cisco, or Nortel
Core network experience (AMF/SMF/UPF) combined with RAN understanding
Experience with ORAN or virtualised RAN environments
Scripting or automation exposure (Python, Bash)
Previous experience working on on-call or escalation rotations
