Responsibilities
Leading the analytical oversight for Financial Institutions, Public Finance, and Corporates
Acting as a voting member of the Credit Analysis Committee to drive rating outcomes for diverse private debt instruments and institutional issuers
Supporting the agency’s Sales and business development efforts by providing technical expertise and explaining complex rating methodologies to key market participants
Mentoring and developing a growing team of junior analysts in Miami, ensuring the highest standards of analytical integrity, and governance
Collaborating with senior management to refine thematic research and sector analyses that enhance the agency's presence and growth
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in senior-level credit analysis positions gained within a credit rating agency, investment fund, or bank, with a deep understanding of Credit
Proven technical expertise in at least one core area—Financial Institutions, Corporates, or Public Finance — with an ability to evaluate complex debt offerings
A proactive and 'hands-on' leadership style, capable of supporting technical junior colleagues
A strong background in fundamental credit risk and cash flow analysis
A commitment to being based in, or at very least frequently traveling to Miami, along with the professional judgment required to lead in a regulated, high-growth environment
