Finance Manager - Growth & Strategy
ShotVet is on a mission to make pet healthcare affordable and accessible across the country, and they are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to influence strategy and build financial systems that fuel growth. The role involves supporting growth strategy, data analytics, and finance operations while collaborating with leadership to drive market expansion and ensure financial integrity.

Responsibilities
Build sophisticated financial models and competitive analyses to evaluate new event/geographic locations and revenue opportunities
Present data-backed recommendations to the leadership team and help shape market expansion strategy
Direct a small team executing growth initiatives—scouting new locations, optimizing routes, and improving underperforming stops
Adapt priorities as market conditions evolve, ensuring the company stays agile and financially positioned for future opportunities
Partner cross-functionally to align growth plans with long-term value creation goals
Dive deep into company data layers to identify trends, forecast performance, and support strategic decision-making
Use BI tools (Sigma experience a plus) to develop dashboards, automate reports, and ensure high data accuracy
Build a strong understanding of financial and operational data structures to connect day-to-day performance with broader business outcomes
Implement best practices from other high-growth companies to improve margins and strengthen forecasting reliability
Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems—ready for audit, diligence, or future capitalization needs
Oversee core financial/accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, and journal entries
Partner with external resources on tax filings, audits, and legal reporting
Ensure timely, accurate financial statements that support both internal management and external financial partners
Build scalable financial processes and controls that mature with the company’s growth
Strengthen cash flow management, working capital visibility, and forecasting precision
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of progressive finance experience (manager/analyst level in a high-growth company is ideal)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Strong modeling, forecasting, and financial storytelling skills
Capable of communicating fluently in financial terms—cash flow, debt, margins, and capital efficiency
Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities
Excited to grow into a leadership role as the company expands and matures
Preferred
Experience supporting scaling organizations or improving gross margins a plus
Sigma experience a plus
