Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the clinical testing laboratory to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Drive strategic alignment and consistency across global laboratory operations
Champion quality assurance initiatives and oversee corrective actions for non-conformities
Develop and implement training programs to maintain staff competency and compliance
Monitor departmental budgets, cost control measures, and resource utilization
Introduce new technologies, tests, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client needs and RFPs
Resolve complex client issues related to sample logistics, test results, and turnaround times
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology
Subject Matter Expert in small and large molecules regulated bioanalysis via LCMS
Minimum of 12 years' experience in a regulated laboratory environment
At least 5 years of direct line management experience
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Deep understanding of clinical laboratory testing procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., GLP)
Strong leadership and team development skills with a focus on operational excellence
Proficiency in quality assurance, GLP processes, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent communication, client management, and financial oversight capabilities
