They are seeking a Director of Technical Accounting to lead technical accounting research, consolidate financials, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating with the accounting and finance teams.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the firm’s accounting policy, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving financial regulations
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842)
Oversee the integration of newly acquired entities into the parent company’s financial reporting structure
Supervise and mentor a small team, fostering professional development and efficiency
Drive process improvements and establish best practices for accounting procedures
Partner closely with senior leadership to manage key projects and business initiatives
Support internal and external audits, preparing and reviewing audit documentation
Qualification
Required
8+ years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in technical accounting
CPA required
Strong consolidation and financial reporting experience
Proven ability to improve processes and implement core accounting procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
Prior supervisory experience required
Preferred
Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
