Responsibilities

Design and prototype electrical systems for barcode and machine vision products, including high performance processors, memories, image sensors, high-speed interfaces, LED drivers, and custom analog features
Perform schematic capture, board layout, circuit simulation, and hardware bring-up
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure integrated, reliable designs
Research emerging electronic technologies and assess applicability for future products
Support production and value engineering activities, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including block diagrams, design intentions, and release drawings
Participate in design reviews and communicate technical concepts effectively
Represent the electrical engineering team on company-level initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
5–10 years designing electronic circuits for new products, including analog and mixed-signal design
Proven experience in generating, designing, and executing concepts into manufacturable designs
Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, and high-speed/low-noise testing
Proficiency with design and simulation tools (Altium Designer preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers

Preferred

Direct circuit design experience with power supplies, low noise analog design (DAC, ADC, Op-Amps) and interface electronics (IO)
Familiarity with CPUs/MPUs, FPGAs, DRAM interfaces (LPDDR4/5), and high-speed interfaces (LVDS, MIPI, PCIe, USB 3.0)
EMI/EMC testing experience and best practices
Knowledge of standard interfaces (SPI, I2C, Gigabit Ethernet)
Advance Proficiency with Altium Designer and High Speed Design Simulation
