Responsibilities
Continue the legacy of a long-standing portfolio of marine accounts across the Gulf Coast
Take the helm of an established portfolio of 'brown water' clients on the Gulf Coast
Produce and build your own portfolio
Manage an existing book of Commercial Marine business, handling everything from day-to-day service to strategy, placement, and growth
Focus on keeping clients happy and identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio
Shape the opportunity as you grow the account and potentially build out the marine team
Qualification
Required
Blend of sales and relationship management skills
Ability to produce and build your own portfolio
Experience managing an existing book of Commercial Marine business
Ability to handle day-to-day service, strategy, placement, and growth
Passion for the marine industry
Desire to develop career in a collaborative, client-focused environment
Preferred
Experience as a Marine Broker/Producer
Experience managing a portfolio of marine clients
Experience running a general book with some marine related risks
Located in Texas or Louisiana
